Every work in the catalogue is sold by enquiry. That is not an affectation and it is not a way of hiding the price — the prices are all published below. It is simply how work of this kind is actually transferred: you look at it, we tell you everything we know about it, and then we decide together whether it is going to your wall.

What to send

An email with the catalogue number and your name is enough. If you want a viewing, say which days suit you. If you are enquiring on behalf of a collection, tell us whose, because it changes what we can say about provenance.

What we send back

Usually within the day: the condition report, the full provenance file, the integrity hash and how to verify it, the edition position if the work is editioned, and a viewing date. If the work has gone — it happens — we will say so in the first line rather than the last.

What we do not do

We take no payment on this site and never will. There is no checkout, no deposit link, no wallet, no card, and nothing here asks for an address or a document. When a sale is agreed the gallery invoices in the ordinary way, after a viewing, and settlement happens between you and our office. An email address is all this page ever wants from you, and it goes to the gallery and nowhere else.
